Each participant gets a 6-foot table and a tabletop easel. Bring your paints, brushes, and preferred substrates. Classes run for 5 Wednesdays with a bonus critique on the 5th week.

Spring Painting - Manifesting New Beginnings

Abstract Painting ā Pushing the Boundaries with Bold Composition ā July 18 ā 21
Time: 10 AM ā 4PM
Location: Harmony Barn, 45262 Road J.8, Mancos (four miles East of Mancos off of highway 160)
There are nice paintings and there are paintings that quicken your heart and really command your attention. So, what is different between the nice paintings and the ones that live on the edge? In this 4-day workshop, we will practice several stages of creating abstract paintings that display authentic mark-making, compelling composition, rich color and fine polish.
They will take home 2-3 paintings. Working in acrylic and water-based medium. No oil.
Materials: Participants will provide their own materials for the workshop.
Age/Experience: For all levels of painters
Minimum students ā 6, maximum 10.
