Inspired by masters like Pollock’s energetic movements and Rothko’s meditative hues, we will dive into abstraction’s vast possibilities.

Workshop Highlights: Canvas: Bring unstretched canvas to pin to the wall or large stretched canvases. Materials: Acrylic paints, brushes, polymer mediums, and your favorite mark-making tools. Feel free to bring collage materials to personalize your work.

Over these two days, you'll learn to create complete abstract works. From surface preparation with vintage papers, tissue, and plaster to composing dynamic, impactful final pieces, we’ll explore: Building rich surface textures. Finding and refining compositions and focal points. Developing your work to professional standards, ready for gallery display.
