As the weather cools, I find myself drawn to the warmth of friends and the cozy atmosphere of my studio. I invite you to join me for a brushmaking circle—a gathering reminiscent of quilting bees, where we come together as artists to create handmade brushes. There’s a certain magic in a hand-crafted brush. Whether you use it to make unique marks, hang it as a beautiful piece, or gift it to someone special, each brush holds a touch of its maker.

Materials Provided: We’ll have threads, yarns, binding fabric, hair, feathers, glue, needles, sumi ink, and rice paper for mark-making. Please bring sticks for brush handles—take time to forage for ones that feel right in your hand and have interesting shapes.
